Lagoon

 

During the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy last year, our old ponds sustained severe structural damage. Swimming, fishing and boating activities had to be suspended until our new and much bigger man-made lagoon will be completed by the end of May 2010.

Roughly the equivalent of three olympic size swimming pools, this man-made lagoon will be the crown jewel of Phillip's Sanctuary.

We are adding a beach area complete with beach chairs and umbrellas. The only one of its kind in the metro area, our lagoon will be fed from our own mountain spring water sources.

The lagoon may also be used for team activities such as raft-building, boat races, swimming races, biathlons and triathlons.

Paddle boat and canoe rentals will soon also be available.
