Rules and Responsibility Code
Bike trails shall be open only during weekends and
holidays, unless given notice in advance through our website or the main
bulletin board near the entrance gate.
Ride to your ability and ride at your own risk. Mountain biking has inherent risks, hazards and dangers that cannot be eliminated.
Wear safety gear. Helmets are required. Gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are strongly recommended.
Stay in control at all times. It is your responsibility to avoid other persons and objects around you.
All inexperienced riders under age 13 should have the consent of a parent or guardian to ride in the Bike Park unaccompanied by an adult.
Do not stop when you obstruct a trail or when you are not visible from above.
When entering a trail or starting downhill, you must look uphill and yield to other riders.
Beware of changing conditions on trails and features. It is your responsibility to inspect features before using them.
Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but bike tracks. Picking of fruits, flowers and plants is strictly prohibited. Secure your trash and dispose in designated trash bins after using the trail.
Riders shall only use designated biker stops unless they intend to use other facilities in Phillip’s Sanctuary.
Restrooms are located at the summit and base of Phillip’s Sanctuary. Urinating in other areas is strictly prohibited.
Please refrain from making unnecessary noise inside Phillip’s Sanctuary. Team-building sessions, retreats, meetings and other activities are regularly held inside the Sanctuary.
Trail users are not allowed to alter, modify
and change the trail configuration at all times. Do not cut switchbacks.
The bike park may, at any time, close specific trails and sections for
improvement, repair and modification.
Please assist if you are involved in or witness a collision or accident. Report all hazardous conditions to park staff immediately.
Failure to follow the Rules and Responsibility Code will result in revocation of Park privileges.
YOU ASSUME THE RISK OF ANY INJURY THAT MAY OCCUR WHEN USING THE BIKE PARK.
